About CrossFit Narellan Kids
What is CrossFit Kids?
The CrossFit Kids program, first and foremost, provides individuals between the ages of 4-12 with prescribed physical activity in a fun and engaging format. The goals of the CrossFit Kids program is to provide healthy habits physically, emotionally and mentally.
One intent is to have the children learn the points-of-performance of foundational movements that have universal application; developing motor recruitment pathways, ensuring safe and efficient movement. What they do and how they feel because of it will provide them a definition of what fitness is and means to them. In addition, layering information about food into the program leads to an understanding of how to adhere to a healthier lifestyle.
Why should my kids do CrossFit Kids?
One of the many things we love about CrossFit is the ability to be able to replicate what parents do in their class and implement it in the kids class. We have found that this link increases the strength within families and friendship groups, while also creating new relationships with like minded people. This allows kids to express their full potential through exploring new experience.
CrossFit Kids classes also provide an opportunity to hone life skills. Skills such as perseverance and working hard as acknowledging personal responsibility, accepting feedback, working with others, following rules, and exhibiting etiquette.
